Return policy

At Ratnali Jewels, every piece is carefully handcrafted or curated and undergoes strict quality checks before dispatch. To maintain the highest standards, our return policies differ for bespoke/custom-made jewellery and ready-made costume jewellery.

Bespoke & Custom-Made Jewellery

Because our jewellery is bespoke and made to order, custom-made items cannot be cancelled or refunded once production has begun. We always confirm order details by email before starting production to ensure your jewellery is crafted exactly as per your requirements.

  • Refunds: Bespoke pieces are non-refundable.

Costume & Ready-Made Jewellery

Our non-custom jewellery (including silver-plated and fashion jewellery pieces) follows a slightly different returns policy:

  • Pierced Jewellery: For hygiene reasons, earrings and other pierced jewellery cannot be returned or refunded unless they are damaged, or are lost in transit. In case of damage, we require box-opening proof (photos or videos) to process a claim.

Damaged or Lost Items in Delivery

All goods are thoroughly inspected and photographed before shipment. We use trusted couriers and request a receiver’s signature wherever possible. However, in some cases, couriers may leave parcels in mailboxes or at the delivery address without a signature. Ratnali Jewels cannot be held responsible for parcels left by couriers in this way.
If your item arrives damaged, please provide photographs of the packaging and item (ideally taken while opening the box) so we can take the suitable action. In the rare event of loss, we will work with the courier to resolve the issue.

Customs Duties & Tariffs

International orders may be subject to customs duties or import taxes charged by local authorities. For the USA, recent tariff-related charges may apply depending on order value. These are the responsibility of the customer. While our team can provide guidance, Ratnali Jewels cannot control or waive these charges.

Refund Process

Once a return is received and inspected, you will be notified by email about approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be applied to your original payment method within a certain number of days.

  • Sale Items: Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale items are non-refundable.
  • Exchanges: Replacements are only offered for items that are lost or damaged with photographic proof.
  • Gifts: If an item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you will receive gift credit if eligible. Otherwise, refunds will go to the original purchaser.

Shipping & Delivery

We ship worldwide from India and the UK using reliable couriers. Delivery times vary depending on your location and whether your item is custom-made (please allow 5–6 weeks for bespoke jewellery). While we request signatures upon delivery, some couriers may leave packages in secure mailboxes or at the door. In such cases, Ratnali Jewels does not accept responsibility for parcels marked as delivered by the courier.

Returning Your Product

If a return is authorised, We will advise the return address via email.
We recommend using registered post. and keeping proof of postage, as we cannot be held responsible for returns lost in transit. The client is responsible for bearing the cost of international return.
