Ratnali (pronounced Raat-naa-lee) takes its name from Sanskrit, meaning bejewelled, gilded or dazzling
We are a UK-based mother-and-daughter jewellery house, born from friends and family constantly asking us, “Where did you get your jewellery?”
Jewellery has always been a big part of our lives, and Mum has always had an incredible eye for it. She would come back from trips to India with unusual pieces she had discovered, find small independent jewellers, or work with trusted karigars to adapt and create designs of her own.
Before long, friends, family and eventually people beyond our immediate circle were asking Mum to help them find jewellery for weddings, special occasions and outfits they had already chosen.
And that’s how Ratnali Jewels began.
Jewellery We Genuinely Love
Today, Ratnali brings together jewellery for different moments, styles and occasions.
You will find easy everyday pieces alongside distinctive one-of-a-kind finds sourced from small independent jewellers and makers. When we find something we love, we often buy just one, so many of the pieces you see at Ratnali are genuinely limited.
Our heritage jewellery is made to order for and we work with skilled karigars in India, craftspeople we have built relationships with over many years, and many of our designs can be adapted in colour, length, scale or detail.
What connects everything is simple. We only choose jewellery we would be excited to wear ourselves.
