24K Gold Thappa Diamond Polki Necklace Set

This is Ratnali at its most exceptional. Handcrafted using the traditional Thappa technique, this necklace and earring set brings together natural uncut Diamond Polki, high-purity gold, rich ruby and emerald stones and freshwater pearls in a piece designed to be treasured for generations.

What makes this piece particularly special is its construction. Thappa is an intricate jewellery-making technique in which fine sheets of high-purity gold are worked by hand to create elaborate forms with less weight than an equivalent solid-gold construction. Here, 24K gold is used to the front with 23K gold to the reverse, allowing the necklace to retain the richness and grandeur of traditional fine jewellery while remaining beautifully wearable.

The natural uncut diamonds are Kilwas Polki, prized for retaining the individual character and irregularity of the original diamond rather than being cut into uniform modern facets. Each stone is selected and set by hand, so subtle variations are part of the beauty of the finished piece.
